Reseach Areas

Our research group is focused on studying the process of heart formation, heart function and mesodermal differentiation in Drosophila. We furthermore work on evolutionary aspects of development and morphology. The laboratory is using genetic screening approaches, life cell imaging techniques and electron microscopy, as well as many methods from cell biology, molecular biology and related subjects.
