This site is devoted to the F_OF₁-ATP synthase (EC 3.6.3.14) The ideas I had in my mind when I was creating it were:

to give a general description of this wonderful enzyme (see Basics and FAQ)
to gather ATP synthase links and general bioenergetics links collection
to facilitate communication between people engaged in the research on ATP synthase
to keep track of the current news in the field
to formulate the unclear aspects of the ATP synthase functioning (Hot Points)
To provide links on meetings, courses and conferences relevant
