Biodiversity in a different way

Invitation to the "Day of the Botanic Garden"

A bee on a flower

Start: 03.07.2022 - 11:00 - 18:00
Location: Botanical Garden

What are the tasks of a botanical garden? What is researched here, cultivated in the greenhouses and taught in guided tours for everyone? And what does WIPs-De actually mean? What are mosses good for and what do wild bees need to live?

The Botanic Garden provides answers to all these questions and more on Garden Day. Researching, preserving and communicating biodiversity are central tasks of the garden and are reflected in this year's programme.

In numerous guided tours and at various information stands, visitors can learn more about nature, also in a sensual and playful way. Special offers for children will be presented by the Green School, the educational institution of the Botanic Garden. Art and culture will not be neglected either, with music, acrobatics and culinary diversity.

Admission is free. Donations are very welcome.
